It all started with a dream

Lucky Fins began the same way a lot of good ideas do: with a shared love for restaurants and a belief that great food brings people together. What started as a simple idea quickly became a mission—to serve craveable seafood, create welcoming spaces, and build restaurants people actually want to come back to.

That idea first came to life in Meridian, Idaho in 2011, where Lucky Fins opened its doors with a focus on approachable seafood, friendly service, and an easygoing atmosphere. It didn’t take long for it to become a place people loved to gather; whether for a casual lunch, a relaxed dinner, or a familiar favorite enjoyed again and again.

Today, Lucky Fins reflects everything we’ve learned along the way: thoughtfully prepared seafood, familiar favorites, and restaurants designed to feel comfortable, inviting, and worth returning to.

As Lucky Fins grew, so did our confidence in what worked. With the opening of our Greeley, Colorado location in 2013, the brand expanded while staying rooted in the same values: quality, consistency, and hospitality that feels genuine and unforced. That foundation gave us the opportunity to think bigger, by building on what made Lucky Fins special.

Over time, that growth led to the creation of additional concepts within our restaurant family, including Smokin Fins and Acero -each offering its own perspective on the same commitment to great food and genuine hospitality.
